Hey, Class President! is a completed manga written and illustrated by Koari Monchi. It was serialized in Dear+. There are ninety chapters within eight volumes which were published by Shinshokan in Japanese and in North America by 801 Media. A related manga is the Seitokaichou ni Chuukoku: Koushiki Anthology. A spin-off series is titled Daini Button Kudasai.
The manga was adapted into a two episode OVA anime by studio PrimeTime and produced by On-Lead. It is also one of the six series featured in the 6 Lovers OVA.
Synopsis[]
Newly appointed to the student council as Vice President, Chiga is eager to being his duties, especially beside the attractive and naive President Kokusai. As Kokusai is oblivious to others' advances and is too timid to speak up for himself when he’s groped on the train, Chiga decides to accompany him daily as a bodyguard. However, little did Chiga know that he’d begin to fall for his senpai.

Yuuzou Kokusai[]
Gentle in demeanor, Yuuzou was chosen as the class president based on popularity. While he is being touched by men on the train Yuuzou remains polite in helping them with directions when asked. It makes Yuuzou feels so much better when he hears that Yasuhiro will be travelling with him. He praises him for his leadership skills. A member of the judo club Yuuzou is also the senior martial artist there. While he considered Yasuhiro to be vice president Yuuzou did not want to ask him since he knew Yasuhiro would treat the position very seriously to the point where he may be burdened by it.
Yasuhiro Chiga[]
Wondering why Yuuzou was selected for class president Yasuhiro speculates on why and notices more about him. With men caressing Yuuzou he decides to go to school with Yuuzou from now on to defend him. Yasuhiro practically does this using arm locks and by shoving potential molesters away. Close to Yuuzou he thinks how his hair feels nice and proceeds to hug him. Yasuhiro is also a member of the judo club and with it mentioned he is also touched to become Yuuzou's vice president.
Musashi Kondou[]
He mentions to Yasuhiro that everyone is talking a lot about him and the class president. Musashi is confused as to why Yasuhiro reacts so strongly when Yuuzou is involved in a matter but has some clarification after seeing the two of them interact.
Akutsu Naoko[]
Yuuzou's friend who declined the vice president position. He calls Yuuzou when he is on the train and later contacts Yasuhiro to check on him.
Story[]
Yasuhiro Chiga sees the class president Yuuzou Kokusai on the subway and realizes his facial expression is due to him being groped by others.[1] Yasuhiro says he will go with Yuuzou to school where he fends off those who mean to touch him.[2] Yasuhiro hears from Musashi Kondou how others have mentioned him and Yuuzou.[3]

6 Lovers OVA[]
Seitokaichou ni Chuukoku is one of the six anime featured in the 22 minute 6 Lovers OVA. At around 3 minutes and 52 seconds in duration it is the sixth and final series featured. In the student council room Yasuhiro hears that Yuuzou has gone to meet someone from the judo club. With Kawawa not there, Yusuhiro observes that Yuuzou is close to that senior. Yusuhiro tries to be nonchalant about it remembering that he is the one going out with Yuuzou. Sharing cinema tickets he received from Kawawa for a romance movie Yuuzou asks Yasuhiro if he would like to go with him. Yasuhiro is reminded by Yuuzou to tell his mother so emailing her Yushiro thinks he will forgive Kawawa for being chummy with Yuuzou today.
Yuuzou realizes the face he is making and says it is because he wants to kiss Yasuhiro because he is adorable. If it were not for the sidewalk location Yasuhiro would have kissed him already. At the cinema together Yashuhiro thinks the movie was about two people who cared for each other but they misunderstood one another and broke apart. The misunderstanding was from doing nothing at first and slowly built up to be a bigger misunderstanding. Yasuhiro feels it is good he and Yuuzou are able to tell each other what they really feel and reach understanding. Yuuzou takes Yasuhiro's hand.
Outside Yuuzou asks why they do not hold hands when there are less people on the street. Yasuhiro is happy to but Yuuzou affirms he did not mean right now but after they turn the corner, which is where Yasuhiro intends to kiss him. Saying that he usually falls asleep during romance movies Yuuzou is glad he stayed awake for this one and wonders if it is because he is falling in love with Yasuhiro. As Yuuzou speaks how he saw the couples as them, but they had to be careful about holding hands in public, Yuuzou ends that he is glad Yasuhiro is by his side. Yuuzou suggests they hold hands before turning the corner and then they kiss. As Yuuzou mentions whether this is like a date Yasuhiro points out he talks a lot when embarrassed before adding for them to please be alone together until they reach home.
